Aftercare Following Laser Hair Removal

The treated area may be temporarily red or swollen after laser hair removal. Avoid friction, heat and UV exposure while the skin settles, and follow any individual care instructions you received from the clinic first.

❄️ Redness and Warmth

Mild redness and swelling may appear immediately after treatment. If you feel discomfort, briefly apply a cold compress wrapped in a clean cloth to soothe the area. Do not rub or scratch the treated area.

🧼 Cleansing and Daily Care

For 24 hours after treatment, avoid hot baths or showers, saunas, swimming and other activities that expose the skin to heat or irritation. Wash your face or shower gently with lukewarm water. Until redness and irritation have settled, avoid strongly scented products, scrubs and makeup on the treated area.

Avoid saunas, hot baths and strenuous exercise for the first 24–48 hours after laser hair removal.

🚫 Hair Removal Before the Next Treatment

Do not forcibly pluck hairs as they shed. During the treatment course, do not remove hairs with waxing, tweezers or an epilator. Shave gently only after redness and stinging have settled.

Do not pluck or wax; shave gently after the skin has settled.

☀️ Sun Protection

Keep direct sunlight off the treated area and do not use tanning devices. Once skin irritation has settled, apply sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher to exposed areas, and cover them with clothing or a hat when going outdoors.
